RI FOOD BANK WELCOMES JODI MESOLELLA AS NEW DIRECTOR OF ANNUAL GIVING & DONOR SERVICES
Director brings major gifts experience and track record in donor stewardship
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – (June 25, 2026) The Rhode Island Community Food Bank announces Jodi Mesolella as its new Director of Annual Giving & Donor Services. Mesolella joins the Food Bank after 25 years at Ocean State Media (previously Rhode Island PBS), where she served most recently as Director of Membership & Special Projects. She brings a deep knowledge of strategic initiatives that strengthen community support for mission-driven organizations.
A resident of Cumberland, RI, Mesolella holds a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College. She is certified in major gift fundraising through Veritus Group Academy and currently serves on the Development Committee at Providence Country Day School.
In her role as Director of Annual Giving at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Jodi will be responsible for inspiring generosity among current and prospective donors, and leading stewardship campaigns.

Founded in 1982, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works to improve the quality of life for all Rhode Islanders by advancing solutions to the problem of hunger. The Food Bank serves as the central food distribution hub across a statewide network of 137 member agencies. Through donations, federal programs, and community partnerships, in 2025, the Food Bank distributed over 18.6 million pounds of food, 4.5 million pounds of which was fresh produce.
