Director of Annual Giving and Donor Services

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to play a key role at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank as its next Director of Annual Giving & Donor Services responsible for implementing the Food Bank’s multi-channel direct mail fundraising program and overseeing database and gift administration. Reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Director will play a critical role on the leadership team, working collaboratively to coordinate solicitation messaging, timing, and goals to increase annual operating revenue. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing a large-scale direct mail program and proven team management experience.

Agency Programs Coordinator

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional responsible to coordinate on-site visits and provide support to our member agencies (food pantries and meal sites around RI). The coordinator will develop resources, deliver educational trainings, and identify innovative ways to support our network while ensuring compliance and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, with experience in public speaking and facilitating trainings and group discussions, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience working with diverse populations is preferred. Candidates should possess strong computer skills. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Production Chef

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Chef to support our Kids Cafe afterschool nutrition meal program, which provides nutritious meals to children facing food insecurity across Rhode Island. This position plays a vital role in preparing up to 450 meals daily in our commercial kitchen, working with a small, collaborative team to produce high-quality, often scratch-made meals that meet our nutrition and food safety standards. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the Production Chef is responsible for meal production, kitchen organization, and assisting with menu execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume or commercial kitchen setting, strong time management skills, and a commitment to feeding children and supporting our mission to end hunger in Rhode Island.
