Agency Programs Coordinator

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is looking for a highly organized, detail oriented professional responsible for coordinating on-site visits and providing support to our member agencies. The coordinator will develop resources, provide educational trainings, and find innovative ways to support our network. Must have strong communication and public speaking skills. Must also have the ability to manage multiple projects and provide excellent customer service. Fluency in Spanish is preferred and experience working with diverse populations is a definite plus. Qualified candidates will have high proficiency with MS Windows and Office. The individual should have a Bachelor’s degree and three years related work experience or the equivalent. SNAP Outreach Coordinator

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is looking for a SNAP Outreach Coordinator responsible for connecting our member agencies and their guests to SNAP and other benefit programs.  Qualified candidates must be comfortable with providing one-on-one support, public speaking, and capable of understanding the requirements for state and local assistance programs.  Fluency in Spanish is required and experience working with diverse populations is a definite plus.  A bachelor’s degree and extremely strong communication skills are required. Driver

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is looking for a highly qualified class A or B licensed driver with extensive pickup and delivery experience, including loading and unloading pallets utilizing a power pallet jack and liftgate. The individual will transport and distribute food to our agency network. Prep Cook

The RI Community Food Bank is looking for a prep cook who would work alongside our Production Chef and would be responsible for the safe preparation of daily meals provided to Kids Cafe partner sites.  Responsibilities include preparation, cooking, and packaging for delivery in a quality, timely manner.  The cook is expected to follow proper kitchen procedures for safe food receiving, handling, and storage, and must practice proper cleaning, safety, and sanitation.  Requirements include professional culinary experience, a current food safety certificate, a strong sense of organization and responsibility, and the ability to maintain a professional atmosphere.  Position starts as soon as possible through August 31, 2021, at minimum, with potential for an extension.
