The RI Community Food Bank is seeking a qualified professional with a strong knowledge of office administrative practices including scheduling, meeting minute preparation, the ability to coordinate office practices & procedures and coordinate the work of the reception team. Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.  Also, the individual must have strong organizational and planning skills, oral and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills and an in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite. Development Coordinator

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator to provide operational and administrative support for its major gifts program. Responsibilities include all major gift portfolio management, database tracking and reporting, oversight of mailings and other donor communications, planning and execution of donor cultivation events, and other projects that help deepen relationships with donors and prospects for major gifts. Qualified candidates should be organized, attentive to detail with strong computer, project management and interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with a donor database, preferably Raiser’s Edge NXT, highly desired. A bachelor’s degree or 1- 3 years work experience, preferably in a non-profit development office, are required. See full job description here.

Community Resource Coordinator

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is looking for an energetic professional to provide outreach and support for social service, state, and federal assistance programs to member agencies and their guests. Must have strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.  Experience working with diverse populations is a definite plus. Our staff of over 60 brings our mission to life, working to improve the quality of life for all Rhode Islanders by advancing solutions to the problem of hunger.

As the only food bank in the state of Rhode Island, our team has a broad range of skills and works in a variety of departments.
