In addition to distributing food to address this growing need, the Food Bank works with our congressional delegation, senators and representatives to advocate for policies that address the root causes of hunger. Here’s how you can help.

- FY27 Proposed State Budget: Governor McKee’s state budget includes an allocation of $2 million to the Food Bank.
- House Bill 7259: Proposes that the Food Bank’s allocation is increased to $3 million.
- House Bill 7258: Proposes an allocation of $200,000 to Farm Fresh RI to support Bonus Bucks, a program that promotes fresh healthy food and local agriculture while expanding SNAP impact.
