Video Recipes

Healthy Habits recipes are featured in our nutrition education program, and shared virtually with local member agencies, to teach guests how to prepare healthy meals on a limited budget using ingredients often found on food pantry shelves. The Healthy Habits nutrition education team has been recording recipes and educational sessions that can be used by anyone with internet access. Healthy Habits is currently accepting invitations to host virtual classes and workshops at member agencies for guests, staff, and volunteers.

Zucchini Cranberry Muffins

This recipe is a good foundation recipe for a basic trail mix. The ingredients can easily be swapped out for whatever you have on hand or your favorites. Egg Bites

These egg bites are a great way to meal prep for breakfast by making a large batch in advance. They can be stored in the fridge for up to 4-5 days and in the freezer for 1-2 months. They can also easily be personalized to include your favorite ingredients or whatever you have on hand.

Grain Bowl Four Ways

This recipe shows just how much of a change you can make to a base dish (Veggie Grain Bowls) by switching up the spices and canned ingredients. In the video you will make the base recipe, then be shown how different spices and canned items can be swapped in to transform this dish into an Asian-Inspired, Indian-Inspired, or Spanish-Inspired meal.
