Seeking a motivated and passionate Communications Coordinator to assist in telling the story of our work and sharing our message with a variety of audiences. Reporting to the Director of Communications, the Coordinator is responsible for capturing and disseminating stories of those we serve by visiting our member agencies across the state and preparing this content for use on the website, in social media and for key publications. The Coordinator will also assist with day to day writing needs; plan and execute the Food Bank’s social media strategy with the Director’s guidance; and maintain the website, keeping it current and informative. Candidate must have the ability to both think big picture about the communications needs of the organization, while maintaining close attention to detail and execution.

Community Nutrition Coordinator

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is seeking a full-time, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Community Nutrition Coordinator to lead nutrition education programs and support community outreach. This position will involve facilitating nutrition education activities in collaboration with Food Bank member agencies and their program guests. A major focus will be working with diverse communities across the state of Rhode Island.
