Stop & Shop supports the Rhode Island Community Food Bank with food and fund donations all year long. During the COVID-19 pandemic they provided even more assistance to make sure that our member agencies had enough food to meet the increased demand. Check out the video below to see how they partnered with Young Family Farm in Tiverton to pack and distribute fresh produce to neighbors in need.
The students and faculty at Bishop Hendricken were determined to hold their annual Hunger Walk to raise funds for Rhode Islanders facing food insecurity. To keep the tradition alive during a public health pandemic, they used social media to challenge and engage their network of alumni and friends. Watch the story from WPR12 to see the results.
