The RI Community Food Bank is excited to partner with The Guild Brewing Co. in October for their Pints with Purpose program! Each month, the Guild highlights a local nonprofit by naming a beer in their honor AND donating proceeds from the sale of that beer.

Beer Naming Contest
Entries now CLOSED – thank you for your submissions!
We want you to get in on the fun to help us name October’s charitable brew!
- Submit your best beer name idea by Sunday, Sept. 21 using the submission form (below).
- Note: We do not yet know what type of beer (pilsner, lager, etc.) our special brew will be.
- Food Bank staff will vote on their favorite.
- The winner gets a $50 gift card + bragging rights when the beer debuts!
We’ll announce the name of the beer at a special event on Thursday, October 9th (more details below).
So grab a brew, get creative, and help us name our purposeful pint! 🍺
Kick-Off Celebration

🗓️ Join us at The Guild’s taproom in Pawtucket (461 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI) on Thursday, Oct. 9th (6-9 PM) for the big name reveal and kick-off celebration!
Starting that night and continuing throughout the month of October, $2 from every pint of the newly-named beer sold will benefit the Food Bank. Enjoy raffles with prizes from local businesses, grab a brew and a bite, learn more about the Food Bank’s work, and more!
To contribute a donation for our raffle, reach out to Kelly Seigh, Director of Corporate & Community Relations, at kseigh@rifoodbank.org.
