Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Part-Time)

The RI Community Food Bank is seeking a part-time administrative assistant/receptionist. This position will provide administrative support to the Community Kitchen Program and will serve as the main back up to the receptionist. Individual must be a motivated self starter and team player, have strong customer service skills, be well organized, detail oriented, possess problem solving and decision making abilities and have an understanding of office and administrative procedures. Strong communication skills needed and experience with Microsoft Office products required. Associates degree and/or 2 years related experience required.

Volunteer Coordinator (Part-Time)

The RI Community Food Bank is seeking a part-time volunteer coordinator. This position is responsible for managing the volunteer calendar and database, scheduling individuals and groups and orienting them when they arrive for their shift. Individual must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills and be well organized. Experience with Microsoft Office products required and knowledge of Blackbaud’s The Raiser’s Edge a plus. Bachelor’s degree or experience in volunteer services or human resources is required and experience coordinating group activities is preferred.
