Ensure No One Goes Hungry
This Holiday Season

There are many ways to get involved with the work of the Food Bank this holiday season. Through its member agencies, the Food Bank continues to serve 57,000 people each month. We need your help to ensure that none of them go hungry.

Make a Gift to the Food Bank
With your gift, the Food Bank will provide assistance to thousands of children and families throughout the state.

Donate Food to the Food Bank
Your donation of non-perishable food will be distributed to children and families through our network of 155 member agencies.

Holiday Events

Ocean State Job Lot/iHeart Radio
33 Hour Food-A-Thon

Friday, November 17 at 6 am through Saturday, November 18 at 3 pm

Ocean State Job Lot stores will be collecting donations for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

You can donate food or funds at the register and know that your contribution will support Rhode Islanders in need of food assistance.

And for 33 straight hours you can come out to meet your favorite DJs and personalities from iHeart Media radio stations. Check out the locations and stations:

Clements Market/92 PRO FM Food Drive

Saturday, December 2 from 10 am to 2 pm

Clements Market and 92 PRO FM are teaming up to collect food donations for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

Stop by their Portsmouth location and be a part of the excitement while supporting a great cause.


Holiday Food Drive Open House

Saturday, December 9 from 9 am to 12 noon

Join us for a free festive, family-friendly celebration featuring holiday cheer and music as we collect food donations for our neighbors in need.

Take a tour, meet Food Bank staff and volunteers and learn more about our work to ensure that no one in Rhode Island goes hungry. Check out our Holiday Open House Flyer to find out more about this event!

Eastside Marketplace/Lite 105 Holiday Food Drive

Saturday, December 9 from 10 am to 3 pm

Join the crew from Lite 105 at Eastside Marketplace in Providence for a fun-filled holiday food drive.

Meet your favorite radio personalities and win prizes like concert tickets and Lite 105 gear.

Do your holiday food shopping and purchase a little extra for the Food Bank.


Ongoing Food & Fund Drives

Honda Against Hunger
Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts Honda Dealers will be collecting food for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank through December 12. Stop by any Honda dealer with your food donation. Or visit them online to donate funds.

PriceRite Check Out Hunger
Now through December you can donate to the Food Bank at the register every time you check out at any local PriceRite. Last year, generous shoppers contributed $70,000 to help Rhode Islanders in need of food assistance.

Shaw’s Spirit of Giving
Visit any Shaw’s Supermarket and purchase a “bundle” of food for $5, $10 or $15 and Shaw’s will donate it directly to the Food Bank.

Tasca Automotive Group Drive Against Hunger
For every car purchased through November and December, Tasca Automotive Group will donate 5 MEALS to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Check out their selection and know that your car purchase will help feed Rhode Islanders in need of food assistance. You can also drop off food donations at any Tasca dealership in Rhode Island!
