Empty Bowls: A Benefit for the RI Community Food Bank

Check out our Photo Gallery from the event!

Thank you for helping us make this year’s Empty Bowls a huge success, raising more than $100,000 to fill the empty bowls in our community.

About Empty Bowls

The idea is simple.
Enjoy a delicious selection of tastings from 34 local restaurants.
Choose a handmade artisanal bowl to take home as a reminder of the bowls you’re helping to fill in our community.

Watch the video below to learn more about Empty Bowls.

Purchase a Special Bowl in Our Collector’s Corner

In addition to the handmade bowl every guest receives at our Empty Bowls event, a selection of unique artisanal bowls will be available for sale.

Bowls were contributed by Rhode Island artists such as Tracy Glover Studio, Anna Galloway Highsmith, Peàn Doubulyu, John Fazzino and many more.

Visit out Facebook Gallery to view the bowls and to make a purchase.

Become a Food Participant

For more information, contact Kelly Seigh.

Donate Handmade Bowls

For Empty Bowls to be a success, we need 1,000 handmade bowls. That’s a lot of bowls! We could not do this event without the generosity of so many local artists.

If you have bowls to donate, please fill out this participation form. Bowl donations can be dropped off at the Food Bank M-F between the hours of 8am-5pm.

For more information, or to schedule a bowl pick up, contact Kelly Seigh.
