The Rhode Island Community Food Bank is dedicated to fighting hunger on every front, every day.  Our innovative programs are designed to help eliminate hunger in Rhode Island by addressing the differing needs of those we are committed to helping.

The Food Bank’s primary function is to act as a food distribution center: soliciting, collecting, storing and distributing surplus and salvageable food for nonprofit agencies. But in addition to securing food for nearly 300 member agencies throughout Rhode Island, the Food Bank sponsors a variety of programs designed to better the lives Rhode Islanders in need .

As we continuously look for new ways to collect and distribute food, provide leadership and information to promote citizen action and advance government nutrition assistance, the Food Bank relies on the entire community's support to ensure that everyone has enough to eat.
