"Business Community Food Drive: Investing in Rhode Island"
Now through July 25th

Summer is a season typified by vacations and barbeques, but for many Rhode Island families, it is a time of year characterized by hunger.  Rising food and fuel costs are causing added strain to the already limited food budgets for many low-income families. Unfortunately, during these tough times, this struggle has become too common as many families find themselves seeking help for the first time. But, you can help.

Between now and July 25th, Fidelity Investments and Chambers of Commerce throughout the state have partnered with the Food Bank for the "Business Community Food Drive: Investing in Rhode Island" to help re-stock the shelves of food pantries across Rhode Island. All businesses, large and small, are encouraged to participate. To get involved, contact Liza Gentile at (401) 942-6325 x214 or via email. For a list of participants, please click here.

If you are unable to participate in the food drive, but would like to help your neighbors in need, you may donate to the drive's Virtual Food Drive component by clicking here.
